ORGANIC AGRICULTURE CERTIFICATE
Organic Farming is a holistic systems approach based on a set of processes that results in a sustainable eco-system, safe food, healthy nutrition, social justice and better environmental living conditions for animals. The harmful effects of chemicals (such as pesticides, pesticides, fertilizers) used in agricultural production on human and animal health have increasingly begun to make themselves felt. In order to eliminate all these negative effects, an Ecological Agriculture System has been developed, which is based on the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides as little as possible, and replacing them with organic fertilizers and biological warfare methods that do the same job.
Organic agriculture is an agricultural method based on traditional methods applied since prehistoric times, aiming to produce non-genetically modified seeds and seedlings, agricultural products without the use of chemicals, natural grazing and propagation without the use of ready-made feed, and animal husbandry without the use of antibiotics. According to the regulation of the European Parliament in Brussels (27 April 2018), organic agriculture is a comprehensive agricultural management system that ensures high levels of biodiversity with climate and environmentally friendly practices, and pays attention to the application of high animal welfare and production standards in line with consumer demand for products produced with substances and methods. and food production system. The regulation on the principles and implementation of organic agriculture has been published for the purpose of defining, implementing, supervising and disseminating organic agriculture. This regulation determines the conditions aiming to protect the naturalness of the product, to keep all stages under control the first moment of the product to the harvest, to protect the environment and biological diversity, and to protect human health.
According to IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements), Organic Farming Principles are:
* Organic agriculture should maintain and improve soil, plant, animal and human health as a whole.
* Organic farming, based on the environmental system and transformation, should imitate these and help maintain their sustainability.
* Organic farming should be based on relationships that ensure justice in the environment and life processes.
* Organic farming must be managed prudently and responsibly to protect the health and well-being of current and future generations and the environment.
Examples of organic farming practices and methods are:
* Crop rotation (avoiding monoculture farming, which gradually causes soil weakening).
* Using green manure.
* Using animal manure and vegetable waste (compost).
* Recycling of organic materials.
* Using alternative plant protection (natural predators) and nutritional products.
* Using local plant varieties and local animal breeds that are resistant to the special conditions of the region.
* To provide high standards of animal welfare.
* Avoiding the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and products produced by or with GMOs

Organic production, which is a production method compatible with the environment, is a production system in which a self-sufficient closed system based on the use of farm and local resources is created and the whole production process is controlled and certified instead of the final product. Contracted farmers undertake not to use synthetic chemicals, hormones and fertilizers in their gardens and fields in any way. International independent inspection firms, authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, issue an "Organic Product Certificate" to each of the organic products produced in accordance with the conditions, which certifies that the products are grown as organic products in a controlled manner.
Controllers inspect the activities in the field and the field on the relevant dates according to the organic agriculture checklist created in accordance with the regulation on the principles and activities of organic agriculture. During the inspection, the controller; It analyzes the activity status of the land in previous years, the practices realized, the general situation in the region and the products obtained, risk situations, entrepreneur records and reports related to the issue. The controller generates a report as a result of the control process. The control report covers the control results of the organic farming practices of the entrepreneur in accordance with the principles of organic farming and the regulation rules for its realization. If the result of the control takes a positive decision, a document (Organic Agriculture Certificate) stating that the entrepreneur meets the organic farming conditions is given. In the negative result, the situation is reported to the entrepreneur (negative certification decision letter) and the stage is started the beginning.
A contracted farmer practice has been introduced in the production of organic products in Turkey. In this application, farmers and producer companies provide inputs at the production stage and produce products at the harvest stage. ORGANIC AGRICULTURE CERTIFICATE
