JOIN LIFE
Join Life, in short, is a sustainable labeling standard. It means that both enterprises that provide the best conditions in terms of social compliance and environmentally preferred raw materials and the best technologies are used at the production stage. Inditex aims to have 100% Join Life of all products produced by 2025.
CONDITIONS FOR CREATING A JOIN LIFE
The entire Supply chain must be registered in the Inditex EXTRANET system and submit acceptable Preliminary Evaluation.
• The main manufacturers (Direct suppliers) should have social audits A or B and there should be no serious Code of Conduct non-compliance.
• All yarn fabric factories and contract workshops included in JL orders must have A, B or C-CAP (corrective action planned C) in social audits.
• All wet process enterprises (yarn dyeing, Fabric dyeing Printing companies) included in JL orders must have environmental audit (GTW 2.0) scores of A, B or C-CAP (corrective action planned C).
• Direct suppliers and all supply chains must be approved in accordance with the type of product. In this regard, all companies involved in the production process must have valid Organic (OCS or GOTS) and/or Recycle (RCS or GRS) certificates.
