ICS Inspection

(Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability- Compliance and Sustainability Initiative)

ICS 1998, FCD, founded by the Fédération Française du Commerce et de la distribution, is an initiative based in France; the purpose for the people working and employment conditions improve in a sustainable way, and supplier working together with the principle of responsibility to support their factories acts.

ICS members request audit companies accredited by ICS to perform social audits to verify the actual working conditions at the production sites that provide supply. ICS audits are mandatory by member companies.

The dec results of all ICS audits are recorded in the ICS database and shared among ITS members to avoid unnecessary repetitive audits.
