Carbon Footprint Calculation

Carbon footprint is the study of calculating the carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere as a result of the activities of facilities by various methods. Tue gas is the equivalent of carbon dioxide (CO2). The ISO 14064 standard is the most preferred standard for calculating the carbon footprint of institutions. In the calculations of greenhouse gas emissions, three comprehensive calculations are performed.

Corporate Carbon Footprint

Direct Carbon Footprint (Scope-1): The fossil fuels used by institutions for their activities (heating or production process) and the emissions created by fossil fuels used by vehicles owned by the institution are evaluated under Scope-1.

Indirect Carbon Footprint (Scope- 2): Emissions caused by the electrical energy consumed by institutions, emissions due to steam, cooling or hot water purchased by the institution another institution are evaluated under Scope-2.

Other indirect carbon footprint (Scope 3): Institutions and the products they use (e.g. raw materials, promotional brochures), but the activities of their subcontractors, rental cars fuels the use of the institution of Institutions Employees for business purposes on land ,sea and air transport emissions, it all depends on the Scope-under 3 are evaluated.
